Work with Responsible Suppliers
We will select suppliers that share our environmental values and can demonstrate good ethical and sustainable practices.
Appropriate Packaging
We will continue to provide all our crops in returnable & reusable packaging which is made from recycled plastics.
By taking action we can ensure the packaging protects our product & the environment.
Efficient Transport
We will continue to use an Electric Van for all our deliveries. We will work with distribution partners to minimise milage and fuel usage.
Using Land, Energy & Water Wisely
We will continue to grow hydroponically in an indoor environment to leave more of the land to nature and to encourage biodiversity. We are developing our long term plan which will see the business switch to self generated 100% renewable energy.
Preventing Waste
We have put in place a Zero Waste To Landfill Promise,
by continuing to grow to order we will prevent over production and minimising food waste. All our organic waste is donated to a local community garden to make nutrient rich compost.
Circular Economy
We will make sure to embed circular economy principles in our business operations and as a result we will produce virtually no waste.
Branding & Marketing
We will use our platform as a business to promote good sustainability practices, while encouraging and supporting partners to achieve their own sustainability goals.
Measuring Impact
We will conduct an annual audit to identify energy saving opportunities. We will also publish yearly our Carbon Emissions & Sustainability Report.
